Entry Requirements
GCSE grades at 2-1 or equivalent or an Entry Level 3 Diploma in a related subject.
Main Qualification: Principles of building construction, information and communication. Principles of stonemasonry. Setting out and templet making for stonemasonry components. Working stonemasonry components. Fixing stonemasonry components. Health, safety and welfare in construction.
Continuing Studies
Progression Opportunities
Students generally progress onto a higher level of Stonemasonry course, move into a job with training (such as an apprenticeship) or move into full time employment.
