Acting for builders or buyers of new build homes presents its own particular set of problems. Although the basic conveyancing principles are the same there are many additional investigations, procedures and obligations. There is a special perspective affected amongst other things by new builds being bought ‘off-plan’, ‘buy to leave’ investors and Government Housing Aid.
This live and interactive online session with leading speaker Paul Tobias will cover NHBC procedures including ‘e-acceptance’ arrangements and the Buildmark Warranty. Topics covered will include guidelines for buyer and seller, exclusions, shared ownership, the Consumer Code for Homebuilders, UK Finance/CML and BSA, Help to Buy, s106, and much more.

Introduction
Although the basic conveyancing principles are the same, when you act for developers or their buyers there are many additional investigations, procedures and obligations both to your client and your client’s mortgagee.
New build conveyancing has its special perspective affected amongst other things by 80% of new build properties being sold ‘off-plan', ‘buy to leave’ Investors and Government Housing Policies.
