Course description
Majority of marine accidents are brought about by human error and poor management. The International Maritime Organization has initiated the ISM Code, which means International Safety Management Code for safe operation ships & for pollution prevention, to mainly reduce such errors and lapses. Furthermore, ISM Code has been made mandatory for all vessels built after 01 July 2002.
This course will give an overview and understanding of the Code to the participants that can be advantageous in keeping the company in compliance with it. Additionally, it will equip the participants with the knowledge to keep maintaining high levels of safety thus, reducing hazards and environmental incidents.
