Course description
The Certificate in Human Resource Management (CHRM) is an intermediate level qualification equivalent to NVQ/SVQ Level 5. On successful completion of CHRM, you will also gain Associate Membership of the CIPD.
To achieve the Certificate in HRM, learners need to achieve a minimum of 32 credits comprising 14 credits from the core units and 18 credits from the specialist units. The units include: Developing Professional Practice, Business Issues and the Contexts of Human Resources, Using Information in Human Resources, Managing the Human Resources Function, Employment Law and Employee Engagement.
On successful completion of the Intermediate (Level 5) Certificate in Human Resource Management, learners may progress onto the Diploma in Human Resource Management or the Advanced (Level 7/postgraduate) qualification.

Suitability - Who should attend?
All applicants will be assessed individually taking into consideration previous experience and qualifications as stated on your CV. All applicants will be expected to have experience of working in an HR role, with more responsibility than administration. Ideally candidates will have completed a CIPD Foundation qualification. IT skills, motivation and commitment are necessary.
