Course description
Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is considered the "gold standard" treatment for multi-vessel coronary artery disease, yet it comes with several associated complications. This CPD module provides a summary of evidence indicating that negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) can mitigate the risk of dehiscence and surgical site infections (SSIs) in patients undergoing CABG.
