- 054 Knowledge of Materials, Fabrication, Tools and Measuring Devices Used in the Automotive Environment.
- 101 Skills in Routine Light Vehicle Maintenance.
- 151 Knowledge of Routine Light Vehicle Maintenance and Pre-MOT Inspection.
- 104 Skills in Removing and Replacing Light Vehicle Chassis Units and Components.
- 154 Knowledge of Removing and Replacing Light Vehicle Chassis Units and Components.
Course delivery details
- Course delivery will be 50% practical and 50% theory. The intention is for most of the theory to be delivered face to face. However, the college has the right to deliver through blended learning, which may include some online learning, including Microsoft Teams classroom, LJ Create, Zoom and other online learning platforms. The Covid will govern the mode of delivery- 19 guidelines adopted by the college and may vary throughout the course.
Suitable safety boots (steel toe cap) will be required and are a mandatory requirement to carry out practical activities in the workshop - the candidate must provide their boots.
