Course description

IMI Level 3 Award in Hybrid Electrical System Repair and Replacement (incorporating Level 2) – PT Evening -  I3AEHE

Uxbridge College is pioneering the latest in high tech learning with its new training technologies for electric and hybrid car maintenance and repairs.
The college owns its own Mini Electric, which is being used hand in hand with its new state-of-the-art electric car simulator, the Car Train. Its EV (Electric Vehicle) courses will support the major shift towards the use of electric and hybrid vehicles, as the UK moves to end its contribution to global warming.

Candidates will be given a maximum of 3 opportunities to resit the online exam. Failure to pass/show up for these 3 resit dates will result in the candidate failing the entire course. The resit fee is £50 and the candidate will need to wait until the next batch of exams are taking place to resit.

In order to achieve the qualification, candidates must pass all elements of the course within the current academic year– there will be no opportunity for any resits/resubmissions later. However, serious personal issues that arise that may adversely affect attendance and consequently completion of the course - these will be considered on a case by case basis. The on-line exam will be in the week after the end date of the course.

This is a full cost commercial course and all students pay fees, no concessions are available. ‘Fee refunds for commercial courses will not be awarded after two weeks before the scheduled start date of the course, unless the course is cancelled by the College.’

Certification is based upon the achievement of the passing the course content and paying the fees in full.
