It is a useful induction food safety programme for those undertaking work-experience in a food business, and for anyone with a keen interest in learning more about the basic principles of food safety and hygiene. Its topics are regarded by the Foods Standards Agency as being important to maintaining good practice in the production of safe food.

Course delivery details
Online course is delivered via video and written content which is accessed by logging into our training platform. The course materials usually take two to four hours to work through, although the more advanced courses can take up to 14 hours.
Every course ends with a multiple choice assessment. You can retry the exam as many times as you need and you will receive your certificate of completion as soon as you pass the exam. This certificate can then be printed as evidence of your qualification.
