Level 3 Award in Education and Training - 4-day qualification course (plus home study)
This had previously replaced PTLLS as the entry level qualification required by anyone aiming towards a career as a trainer in the private or public sectors.
The 4-day course is made up of three units covering all of the essential knowledge and skills required by professional trainers, including:
- roles, relationships & responsibilities in education and training
- using inclusive teaching & learning approaches
- understanding assessment in training and education
Assessment is through a practical "micro-teach" session and the production of a portfolio of work .

Suitability - Who should attend?
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is suitable for those wishing to train in the public or private sectors.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
Students who are successful in the written and practical assessments will be awarded the HABC Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

- Unit 1 : Understanding the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training.
- Unit 2 : Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training.
- Unit 3 : Understanding assessment in education and training.

The cost of this course is:
- Cornwall centre: £575 + VAT per delegate
- Birmingham centre: £750 + VAT per delegate
