Through a combination of knowledge and experience, they have created an intensive and interactive programme to help the owners and managers of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) learn and practice management techniques and business ideas to compete with and win business from large organisations.
The DIEMconsulting team has a collection of experience across government, corporate, charities, and social enterprises. They combine this experience with innovative techniques to help their clients make decisions that create buy-in from the stakeholders who are needed to help drive change.
DIEMconsulting has made it their mission to help clients make decisions in a way that guarantees the decisions are enacted. Their decision discovery approach is designed to capture stakeholders' experience as part of the decision-making process, and gain the buy-in needed to implement the decision with speed and cost-effectiveness.
DIEM's Principles
DIEM believes that the experience, knowledge and commitment of stakeholders is often an underused resource. They use a range of visual engagement techniques to help their clients leverage this stakeholder, as well as collect and share stakeholders' experiences. Following that, DIEM uses visual analysis tools to look at how these experiences relate to different options and then help their clients and their stakeholders reach a shared decision that offers the best outcome.
DIEMconsulting was formed around the three following core principles:
- A good decision is one that is successfully implemented to provide actual benefit, not just one that is theoretically ideal.
- In today’s complex world successful implementation needs the buy-in and commitment of all stakeholders.
