Training Course Content

Programme Content

In our Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training delegates will cover an extensive range of topics across the Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control (DMAIC) phases which are integral to Lean Six Sigma methodology. This will equip delegates with an in-depth knowledge and solid grasp of lean six sigma concepts and tools.

Delegates will delve deeper into the various methodologies, as they plan, implement and lead improvement projects. This allows delegates to use their knowledge and develop their skills on a real-life, work-based project. Each improvement project is managed and recorded on a profit improvement plan, and our coaching support will help the delegates create a measurable difference and return on investment. However, if looking for theory only, we can provide the training course without the work-based project or coaching, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt accreditation will be limited to knowledge only.

The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course is typically delivered as 10 interactive workshop days + coaching, and covers some of the topics as below;

Feel free to pick some of the best ones for search, but I’d say to pick from - Introduction to Continuous Improvement, Project Management, Action Centered Leadership, Lean Six Sigma Principles, 8 Wastes, SIPOC, Voice of Customer, Process Mapping, Stakeholder Analysis, Data Correlation, Data Analysis: 7 QC Tools, Hypothesis Testing, Regression, Root Cause Problem Solving, Pareto Analysis, Analysis the risk of changes (FMEA), Design of Experiments, Solution generation and selection, Workplace organisation, Visual Management and Communication, Standardisation Activities, Auditing and Locking in, Control Charts

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Delivery

Our tailored training can adopt virtual, in person or a blended approach allowing it to remain flexible, however it benefits most by being able to be tailored and relevant to a particular organisation and its needs. It also allows for greater in-depth discussions and explorations of certain topics that are meaningful to the organisation.

There are optional coaching days which support embedding the learning through a work based project, which typically brings different teams and departments together. This helps with building a continuous improvement focussed culture, sustaining the impact of the programme for the longer term. These work based projects are measured and will highlight clear return on investment and significant benefits for the organisation and the delegate on programme.
