Overview
This course explains the process of analysing pension benefits on divorce and advising clients on the best options and choices. It includes references to the Pensions Advisory Group final report on the treatment of pensions on divorce.

This course is for all levels of family law practitioners / solicitors who want to deal correctly with pension benefits on divorce.

Pensions on divorce is a difficult area which many practitioners find challenging. In many cases a pension is the most significant and valuable financial asset, after the family home, to be dealt with on divorce. The new state pension system and pension freedoms have a major impact on how family lawyers advise their clients in relation to dealing with pension arrangements on divorce.
This course provides a practical approach to pensions on divorce where delegates will gain end-to-end knowledge of how best to advise clients in relation to pension benefits. References to the Pensions Advisory Group final report on the treatment of pensions on divorce will also be included.
