Topics discussed by presenter Caroline Myles will include a review of the rules and how they apply in practice, problem areas and potential risks (including the firm's financial position, correct record keeping, shortage in clients' account, bank reconciliations and invested funds), the Law Society Certificate, dealing with residual balances, slab outlays and internet banking (including fraudsters gaining access to your client account and ensuring your staff are suitably trained).
