Course description
Overview
The aim of the course is to be able to understand the key concepts of Wills and Estate Planning. You will explore lifetime gifts as well as dispositions on death which will include considerations of both inheritance tax and capital gains tax. You will also consider the key aspects of will drafting including choosing the correct structure for your client.

Aimed at trainees and newly qualified solicitors and those who are new to the area, plus CILE and paralegals

- Be able to recognise and advise on the most appropriate trust for a client
PSC Elective
This course may be undertaken as a PSC elective, although it may also be attended by non-trainees.
