Course description
All our courses are designed to cover the full range of topics and tasks as laid down by the awarding body in response to industry requirements. All practical activities are carried out within our industry standard workshops with theory work being a mix of classroom and assignment activities. The topics include: Complex cold water systems Complex domestic hot water systems Complex sanitation systems Central heating systems - boilers and controls Domestic gas supply systems Improvement of business products and services Practical Assessment Students undertake practical and theory unit assessments throughout the year. For practical this will take the form of completing a task portfolio and in theory the candidate will be required to sit both paper based and online City & Guilds examinations during their learning programme.
