Course description
After studying the BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in Engineering in year 1, this Extended Diploma in Engineering is your next step. If you have studied the Subsidiary Diploma at another college please come and talk to us. You will study: - electro-pneumatic and hydraulic systems - micro-processing - micro-controllers - mechatronics - advanced electronics You will choose a project of your own that will involve designing circuitry and engineering parts, implementing and testing. Your project could be designing a new car alarm, motion sensors, romote control vehicles.
