8 Building Regulations and Control in Construction,
Units studied on the Extended Diploma in year two include:
3 Tendering and Estimating (Externally assessed synoptic assessment)
9 Management of a Construction Project,
10 Building Surveying
18 Building Information Modelling
23 Construction in Civil Engineering
Suitability - Who should attend?
Entry Requirements
GCSE grades 4-9 in five subjects including Mathematics and English Language.
And a good academic reference or school report.
Training Course Content
Units 1, 2 and 3 will be assessed externally by the awarding body (Pearson).
Continuing Studies
On completion of the Level 3 National Foundation Diploma you would normally continue for a second year onto the L3 Extended Diploma.
Completion of these qualifications over two years is equivalent to 3 A Levels and will allow progress onto our HNC in Construction or Civil Engineering at the West London Institute of Technology or university or employment.
