All About Framing - Learn to Frame
For fun or profit learning to frame can be a really rewarding skill. After years struggling to find a suitable course in his quest to become a framer the founder, Duncan McDonald, built a package of courses.
The UK School of Framing was launched in 2003, running parallel with DIY Framing Ltd. It aimed to teach people how to frame and then offered them the best tools and materials to continue framing at home. Since then all of our companies have merged under the All About Framing brand which now offers, tools, materials, kits, supplies, cutting services, training courses, art hanging solutions and trade bespoke frame services.
Exploring all the options we offer could change your life. A big claim, but the simple fact is, every day, in one way or another, we help people to do just that. Suitable for all levels, we can help you, however far you want to go.
Our courses take you from the very basics through to a level you would comfortably be able to become a commended guild framer (The only framing accreditation in the UK).
We specialise in home setup programs for people wanting to add this skill to an existing business such as photographers, artists or galleries. What makes us stand out from the rest is the continual support and advice we offer course attendees as they grow their fledgling businesses.
