Public Services Level 3 Extended Diploma (Reading)
Study the purpose, role and responsibilities of our uniformed public services, both in the UK and internationally, on this extended diploma programme.

Suitability - Who should attend?
You will need five GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including English Language and maths.
OR
a First Diploma at Merit and above with Functional Skills at Level 2.
If you do not have a grade 4 (C) in GCSE maths or English then you will be required to be working towards achieving these alongside your course.

What you'll learn
The course is designed to give you a varied learning experience and provides a balance between discussion, theory sessions and more practical activities such as personal fitness, sport and outdoor activities.

You can also study other qualifications as part of this course which will enhance your CV.
Evidence can be gained towards Duke of Edinburgh Award.
Visits to public service organisations, which may include residential visits, form an important part of the course along with talks from guest speakers; these can contribute to work experience hours.
