Course description
Performance and Production at Banbury and Bicester College is exciting, practical, and industry focused.
Our courses give you the chance to experience a wide variety of modern, contemporary and practical skills and techniques in the performing and production arts. You'll even create your own study programme, specialising in your area of interest!
You'll be taught by industry trained expert practitioners in specialist buildings, housing a variety of professional facilities, including:
- an HD TV studio
- a cinema room
- multiple Mac suites
- a fully equipped theatre and rehearsal space
This course is the UAL Level 2 Award and Diploma in Performance and Production.

Suitability - Who should attend?
It is recommended that you have a minimum of three GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, at least one of which should be in an art subject.
All learners will be required to attend an audition. You will be contacted personally to confirm any materials you may need to prepare for this.

Course delivery details
We want you to collaborate in your learning experience, so our industry-experienced tutors will help you to identify your areas of interest and areas for improvement.
You'll develop practical performance skills using voice and movement to communicate effectively to an audience. You will also learn the importance of team work, self-discipline, and you'll gain confidence in interacting with—and leading—others.
These skills can be used not just in the performing arts industry but in many other areas of work.
All your coursework is internally assessed at the end of the year (there is no exam).
It'll then be marked by the centre and moderated by UAL Awarding Body.
