Art and Design Level 3 Extended Diploma
We help you create your own study programme so that you can try a wide variety of different disciplines before specialising in a subject area.

Suitability - Who should attend?
You will need 4 or more GCSEs including English language and preferably maths at grade A*-C (grades 4-9), or a national award in art and design, or first diploma in art and design at merit or above, plus GCSEs in English and maths at grade C/4.
You will need to share a portfolio of art, design or craft work.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
The qualification is accredited by the highly regarded University of the Arts London (UAL). Among the benefits, students have the opportunity to have their work shortlisted to appear at the annual UAL awarding body exhibition at Chelsea College of Art.

Art and Design at Banbury and Bicester College is focussed on developing personalised pathway, allowing you to undertake a broad and multi-disciplined programme of study.
Whilst learners may take this qualification in a specialist subject, it is also ideal for those who have not decided which discipline or subject area within art and design they wish to specialise in.

In the first year of this course, you will study for the Diploma. Once that Diploma is successfully achieved, you will be invited to continue on to complete the full Extended Diploma in the second year of the course.
