Advanced Tiling Course

It is preferred that you will have completed Able Skills Introductory Tiling course before moving on to this Advanced training option allowing you to build upon existing knowledge. This course will provide you with an opportunity to work with more complex materials and in more complex areas.

Able Skills 5-day Advanced tiling course is suitable for those of you looking to progress from our 5-day introductory course and build upon the knowledge you have already gained. This particular tiling course will help you gain speed and develop your own technique as well as providing you with the skills to undertake more complex areas of tiling.

The course will cover:

• Prime areas to receive tiling
• Build speed and precision
• Patterns including diamond pattern to wall and floor areas
• Estimate tile quantities required for each individual job
• Use of washboys
• Use of laser lines/levels
• How to prepare a quote

This course has been designed to see you move around the tiling centre, giving you the opportunity to tackle larger and more complex wall and floor areas. Our total hands-on approach guarantees that throughout your training time at Able Skills you will be continually tiling, all with the aim of teaching you to tile to perfection.

Tiling tools and equipment will be fully supplied, explained, and demonstrated.

Able Skills offers a wide variety of Tiling courses and packages, and it really depends on the level to which you want to learn. After having done our Introductory and Advanced course, you may consider that you would like to learn tiling usingNatural Stonewhich is available as a stand-alone course. We also have aCity & Guilds Tiling Course and NVQ Level 2 Tiling Course.

All of our courses have been designed by our Tiling instructors, based on their industry experience they know what people need to know in order to achieve a particular level of tiling skills.

During this 5-day Advanced Tiling course, all tools and materials are supplied for your use.
This is a hands-on, practical tiling course and you will be involved at every stage and will be participating throughout. It is therefore recommended you bring suitable clothing and for your own safety,steel capped footwear is essential.

All of our courses take place at our dedicated training centre in Dartford, Kent. The centre is easily accessible by road, being just 10 minutes from junction 1a on the M25. We are only a short walk from Dartford train station which is served by frequent trains taking 35 minutes from central London. For anyone travelling from further away, we have our own accommodation available at only £25 per night.

This is a5-day courseand the cost is£495.00including vat. A deposit of £150.00 will secure a booking with the balance payable on the start date. The course is also available over 2 consecutive weekends.
