The Global PA Association & Training Academy was established in 2007 in London and has been leading the way globally on upskilling the potential of the Office Professional sector. The sector is identified as including Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants, Secretaries, Admin Assistants, Office Managers, Team Assistants, and others.

In partnership with Kingston University Business School, we conducted academic research, which was published in academic journals in 2012. This research is the largest sample in the world related to the sector and identified that over 60% of office professionals are qualified to degree level. It confirmed that companies would grow faster if this workforce sector was included in career pathways through their organisation.

In collaboration with MPW Learning, a programme called ‘Leadership Pathway Programme’ was designed to bring all of the skills of a large high street charity organisation management team up to date.
