Nigel Dobbs is currently the Production Manager at LyondellBasell Industries previously known as A Schulmans, Crumlin Plant which manufactures compounding plastics for a range of component manufactures. He has worked at the plant for a total of 44 years and is responsible for three Production Shift Managers operating a 24-hour shift pattern, 60 Production Staff and liaises directly with Planning, Laboratory Test, Quality, Logistics, Maintenance, Customers and EU Colleagues.

In collaboration with MPW Learning, a programme called ‘Leadership Pathway Programme’ was designed to bring all of the skills of a large high street charity organisation management team up to date. After introduction of the programme, common working practices were restructured, productivity increased and management satisfaction improved.

Deborah Fullick of Thomas Recruitment, enrolled onto our LEAD Management Programme. Her personal objective was to become more in control and organise herself effectively by prioritising and achieving set objectives in a realistic time scale, either by herself or delegated to a member of her the team.
