Course description
Powered Pole Pruner Refresher (Lantra Awards)
Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recommend all operators have regular refresher / update training to ensure they work to industry best practice and maintain their levels of competence. The suggested intervals for such training are:
- Occasional operators - every 2 to 3 years
- Full time operators - every 5 years
This one day course covers safe use and maintenance of a Powered Pole Pruner.

Suitability - Who should attend?
We are governed by Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations therefore participants will not be allowed to start the course without the correct equipment. They may prefer for their comfort and safety, to bring their own Personal Protective Equipment. We strongly recommend participants also wear a high visibility vest.
Participants must already be competent is the use of a powered pole pruner and supply their own machine.
