Suitability - Who should attend?
This course is suitable for adult learners who have completed the Italian - Intermediate (Part 1) course at Wiltshire College & University Centre or at a similar establishment.
It is also suitable for those who have previous knowledge of the language and who feel they can cope at a level with the topics and grammar itemised.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
The emphasis will be primarily on consolidating previous knowledge and extending vocabulary, structures and fluency. Listening, speaking, reading and writing activities are designed to maximise your confidence and progress. The course will concentrate on the four language skills with particular focus on speaking and listening and will extend grammar knowledge. Learners will be encouraged to express themselves and give opinions in Italian. The course will include a revision and extension of structures and progress to achieve the use of the imperfect tense.

Course delivery details
Assessment is informal, based on your personal targets and the learning outcomes and will be undertaken regularly with you by the course lecturer. There are no final qualifications associated with this course.
