Course description
This course is perfect for learners who have a basic understand of Italian, either through your own experience or from completing our Italian - Beginners (Part 1) course. This 15 week course will give you the opportunity to progress even further should you wish.
Suitability - Who should attend?
There are no entry requirements for this course, however you should already have an understanding of the Italian language, either through personal experience or previous study on our Italian - Beginners (Part 1) course.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
Consolidate and extend your knowledge of the vocabulary and expressions needed to deal with everyday situations in an Italian-speaking country. You will be encouraged to practise these expressions in class and to reinforce your learning by doing written exercises at home.
Grammar exercises will also be introduced as the need arises. Students will practise the four language skills of reading, listening, speaking and some writing, with the emphasis of the course on speaking and listening.

Assessment is informal, based on your personal targets and the learning outcomes and will be undertaken regularly with you by the course lecturer.
