Course delivery details
The course is based on continuous assessment of practical and theory, multi-choice, tests. These assessments are scheduled at regular intervals over the year after the associated period of training has been completed. In addition, a final qualification knowledge test, will need to be successfully passed. From time to time you may be given theory tasks to be completed as homework. In addition, following a period of absence, you will be expected to catch up with your theory work in your own time. If employment is gained during the period of training the Construction Diploma may be upgraded to an NVQ provided the candidate can submit an authenticated credible portfolio of work-based evidence. This portfolio may be in the form of a diary of activities that have been completed to the standards within the candidate’s workplace.
