We are living in a digital world. Every day media skills are becoming more important: from finding work and connecting with people, to growing a business and creating content.
Across ten weeks, you will learn essential media skills to help improve your photography and filmmaking abilities. You will explore:
- Composition
- Camera settings
- Lighting
- Sound
- Editing
These essentials of this filmmaking course will provide you with all you need to know to become a digital content creator for the modern age, to provide you with the key skills to attract employers, or to become your own content producer.
Suitability - Who should attend?
None but you will be asked to take part in an interview to disucss your interest in the subject.
Training Course Content
This course is a UAL specification and at the end of the ten weeks you will achieve a L2 Award in Creative Media, Production and Technology.
The course is made up of 2 units of work which will contain a mixture of practical and written elements, which you showcase through a personal blog.
Unit 1 Introducton to creative media methods and skills.
Unit 2 Introduction to production techniques in creative media.
You will collaborate with your peers, develop an understanding of a range of digital content methods such as the use of narrative and the relationship with your audience through film and photography.
Course delivery details
Assessment is through assignment based work which you will show case through a digital portfolio, showreel and blog.
Continuing Studies
You may wish to progress to the full L2 Diploma in Creative Media, Production and Technology upon successfully finishing this 2 unit introduction course.
