Course description
ESOL Destination courses are for more advanced ESOL students and consist of 5 hours per week of English, 4 hours per week of vocational study, which include Business and IT units at Level 1.
Suitability - Who should attend?
You do not need to have any previous qualifications in IT or business, but you need to have some basic IT skills. You should have a pass at ESOL Entry 3 or equivalent.
You will be interviewed before you enrol on the course, and you will have a written assessment to establish your level of language and maths skills.

Training Course Content
Alongside an ESOL qualification you will study:
- Employment Rights, Responsibilities and Pay
- Business Meeting Techniques
- Spreadsheet Software
- Database Software
- Understanding Business Communication
- Understanding Customer Service
- Preparing for work.
The IT element of the course is taught using up-to-date computers and software.
