Course description

The aim of this course is to provide the team with a threshold level knowledge of child and vulnerable adults safeguarding and their professional responsibilities in respect of identification of potential risk, harm and how to share/report such concerns appropriately

By attending this course you will develop:

  1. competency in awareness of what constitutes harm and abuse and know what to do when ?you are ?concerned that a child or vulnerable adult is being harmed.
  2. knowledge of applicable legislation, national/local policy and procedures in respect of safeguarding and information sharing.
  3. skills in recognising signs of child and vulnerable adult harm and be able to seek advice and report these concerns ensuring they are listened to.
