Course description
This course will cover Safe Working at Height (SWAH) and how to effectively manage and risk assess SWAH activities.
It'll cover safety management, strategies and policies, their purpose structure and content, as well as links to organisational health and safety and legislation (Safe Working at Height Regulations, Construction Design and Management, Health and Safety at Work) and other related regulations.
You'll also find out about compliance and the consequences of non-compliance, risk assessments, the process and requirements of Responsible and Competent persons and the meaning of competence.
The course will cover safety considerations during the construction, refurbishment and design stages of projects, referencing HSE standards and codes of practice and guidance, to help you plan assessments, work methods and staff training.
On this short course you'll:

- cover the importance of effective risk assessment and method statements
