Course description
A course for health and social care professionals and researchers who want to understand how to make use of the available resources to achieve the best possible outcomes and experiences for every person.
Students will be introduced to the key concepts and methodologies of value-based healthcare, including: identifying unwarranted variation, understanding over- and under-treatment and measuring outcomes.
This is a joint programme between the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences and the Department for Continuing Education. The Programme works in collaboration with the renowned Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine in Oxford.
The course is designed for people who pay for, plan, manage and research health and social care services, many of whom are also clinicians. The course will also be of interest to people from pharmaceutical industries and IT and technology companies.
The last date for receipt of complete applications is 5pm Friday 19th June 2020. Regrettably, late applications cannot be accepted.
