Course description

Why study?

The programme will give you the knowledge and skills to positively effect the provision of midwifery care for a woman and her family by way of developing your knowledge and understanding at a postgraduate level. You will be encouraged to challenge existing boundaries of care and design new ways forward. In addition, optional modules will enable you to develop your knowledge to inform practice and improve the overall quality of care provided for women as there are a range of optional modules which will facilitate development in dimensions such as your transformational leadership skills; ability to manage complex issues during birth; or be a facilitator of learning.
