Course description
On completion of this postgraduate level short course participants will: be able to identify the opportunities and challenges facing primary health care and primary care education now and in the future and to recognise how they may affect educational practice; explore and understand the impact of change on individuals, professional groups, organisational structure and processes in their work setting; evaluate the impact and outcome of adopting new approaches to working.
The syllabus will include: organisational structures and cultures; environmental factors in changes; power, influence and conflict; individual reactions to change; leadership; teams and roles; organisational analysis; strategic planning; organisational learning and quality improvement; change models and implementation of change.
The course is suitable for all healthcare professional interested in applying the change management to their practice.
