Course Aims & Structure
The course will provide an opportunity for delegates to expand their knowledge and skills and gain practical experience on a variety of aspects of Good Clinical Practice relating particularly to the conduct of clinical trials. The module comprises a series of lectures/ workshops, supplemented with distance learning activities.
The aims of the module are to provide training on:
- GCP / GMP legislation (including preparation for inspection)
- Clinical trial setup and management
- Manufacture of IMPs and QP release
- Clinical trials in specialist areas
Intended Audience
The course is relevant to all those with interest in the provision, facilitation and evaluation of clinical trials in health care, and preparationand supply of materials for trials. The course is suitable for those who have general or specialist experience in clinical trials, as for those wishing to gain an understanding of trials before moving into this field.
