Times {trust to decide} for staff working in a primary care setting who need to develop and enhance their recognition and management of the sick child.

- To prepare nurses to identify the sick or deteriorating child and respond appropriately. Recognise common clinical signs of the sick or deteriorating child
- Understand how a child’s developing physiology affects their clinical presentation
- Know when and how to refer
