Course description
An Introduction to Anxiety and Depression for Acute and Primary Care Staff (Online)
The study day will provide an overview of causes, symptoms and experiences, risk factors and support needed for these common mental health problems.
Staff in acute and primary care often have contact with individuals experiencing anxiety and/or depression. This can often be the result of the stress of a recent diagnosis or the experience of a long-term condition. Staff need to be able to recognise the signs of these common mental health conditions and when to refer to appropriate services.
