Course description
The PgCert in Managing Health and Social Care is a flexible, part-time programme designed for middle and senior managers in health and social care who wish to combine academic study with the application of learning to the workplace.
Managers can choose to register on a single module/modules as an Associate Student without registering for an award.
On completion of the course and subject to an additional fee, students will be entitled to the following (CMI) Professional Award.
- Level 7 Award in Strategic Management and Leadership
You can leave with the PG Certificate and apply for the MSc in Health and Social Care Management.
The MSc in Health and Social Services Management is a flexible, part time programme designed for middle and senior managers in health and social care who wish to combine academic study with the application of learning to the workplace.
These programmes are offered by open and distance learning and designed to meet the needs of existing or aspiring managers in health and social care organisations (including the voluntary or independent sector) wishing to develop strategic management skills. These programmes meet the professional and academic needs of health and social care manager and through these, a range of needs of the individual's organisation.
The courses are highly flexible to fit with increasingly busy working lives of health and social care managers and are designed to support the learning needs of managers and aspiring managers wishing to develop management skills within the context of increasing managerial responsibility.
