Course description
This module allows the student to identify a topic related to vascular imaging practice which is of personal interest and professional importance. The module will provide the opportunity for the student to demonstrate initiative in their choice of topic and approach to study. The student may choose to review and evaluate current practice, or report a recent change in practice and analyse its impact in the clinical environment. The essential elements of the module are reflection, evaluation and analysis. An allocated supervisor will provide guidance with the choice of topic, approach and assignment preparation.
This is a self directed study module supported by a small number of lectures and small group tutorials to introduce and explain the LT& A strategy. In these sessions students will consider the skills required to support autonomous and independent learning. A subject specialist will be appointed for the student, who through individual tutorials will assist the student to develop individual objectives relevant to their practice and provide individual support and direction to facilitate their achievement. The Universities Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) will facilitate communication between the student and supervisor in the support of this module.
