Course description
This is a six month, degree level course which will train you in the core skills needed to prepare a piece of writing for publication.
You will learn how to approach a piece of writing critically and will be given a selection of techniques for tackling the problems you may uncover, beginning with questions of structure and storytelling and moving on to the core tasks of detailed copy editing.
This is not just an introduction. It will train you to think about writing, give you a toolkit for enhancing and focusing your own writing, and build a strong foundation of skills on which to develop your career.
