About
Uniper Engineering - Apprenticeship Training
The academy has a great record in supporting apprenticeships, and in 2017, we were successful in our application onto the Register of Apprentice Training Providers (RoATP) under the government’s apprenticeship levy.
We manage and co-ordinate the delivery of apprenticeships spanning a range of disciplines across the power sector.
We provide ‘best in class’ apprenticeship programmes, ensuring that individual learner needs are met and align to business objectives. These apprenticeships are delivered for diverse disciplines including mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation, and operations.
Training
We aim to provide a challenging environment in which every apprentice can thrive and grow, developing the right skill sets for engineers and technicians. The training we provide is industry-renowned and equips individuals with all the tools they need to inspire and deliver high quality and safe performance.
Assessment & Review
As you would expect from a professional training institution, we operate a thorough assessment and review process, providing apprentices with an opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and competence through ownership of their own development.
Apprentices undertake qualifications and training courses appropriate to their specific discipline, and are expected to show progression throughout the review process. They are also expected to demonstrate their abilities through on-the-job learning.
Funding
Our dedicated funding team will make sure that you’re made aware of any government funding that you’re entitled to, helping you reduce the overall costs associated with your training programme.
