The Intermediate Apprenticeship in Hairdressing is designed and structured for individuals who want to work within a commercial environment while gaining a hairdressing qualification. The course will enable you to gain the knowledge, skills and techniques to start your hairdressing career. This qualification focuses on all aspects of hairdressing including cutting, styling and colouring, in line with current trends. You will learn the importance of having excellent employability skills such as communication, attendance, personal presentation, time keeping, personal development, flexibility, commitment and how this will impact on your career path. You will learn the basic hairdressing techniques that are the foundation of becoming a successful hairdresser. Your practical lessons will be held in a professional commercial salon environment. The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing is a job ready qualification based on National Occupational Standards.
