Course description
Love writing? Like to analyse‰Û_well, everything? The English Language and Literature A Level allows you to be creative ‰ÛÒ not only in the fiction and non-fiction writing you will produce ‰ÛÒ but also in the creative approach you can take in your analytical work. How? This multi-disciplinary A Level imposes no rules as to how you should approach your analysis of a text. Word class? Sure. Imagery? Of course!
This A Level also differs from those focused primarily on literature by extending its coverage to explore non-literary and non-fiction texts. You can expect to study prose, drama and poetry, but also a range of texts such as articles, online copy and adverts.
