Course description
This course consists of two units for which you will receive individual workbooks containing lessons, examples and activities. Assignments are accessible 24/7 online with instant marking enabling fast progression. Your allocated tutor will be on hand to answer any questions and guide you through the learning process. Extra lessons, examples and tests are available, along with comprehensive exam preparation and practice, ensuring you are confident and fully prepared for the exams.
Enhanced Learning Resources
Our unique blend of Printed Materials, Practical Activities and Online Resources have proven to significantly reduce the amount of time taken to complete a course, which in turn has vastly increased our students course completion and pass rates. There is no reduction whatsoever in the Learning Content, Outcomes and Qualifications with our Bookkeeping and Accounts Courses. In fact we have higher completion rates with our Bookkeeping and Accounts courses than any home study or classroom based providers.
Waiting hours or days on end for assignments to be marked, and questions to be answered is a thing of the past with Training Link. Many of your assessments can be taken online with instant marking, and within the system you will have 24/7 access to e-books along with extra practice and self-tests that will allow you to continue your studies away from your books and your computer.
Sample E-Book
Our Student Services Department operational 7 days per week, you are able to progress smoothly and in your own time; no scheduled class times to work around or being held up waiting for answers and our Student Street community is yours to engage and share with fellow students 24/7
The two units making up the first sections of the Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting:
Bookkeeping Transactions (BTRN)
This unit introduces you to double entry bookkeeping, the different types of accounts and records a business keeps and how to enter transactions into the accounts.
Bookkeeping Controls (BKCL)
This unit follows on nicely from Bookkeeping Transactions. You will learn how to identify errors in the accounts and make corrections. You will also learn about the banking system and how to create a full set of accounts up to trial balance.
