Course description
This EMS 14001 training is designed with the primary goal of equipping learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct comprehensive audits of environmental management systems (EMS) according to the ISO 14001 standard. The course covers auditing practices for first, second, and third-party audits.
This ISO14001 EMS Lead Auditor training is aligned with the international standards ISO 19011 and ISO 17021. ISO 19011 provides guidelines for auditing management systems, ensuring that the audit processes are effective, systematic, and reliable. ISO 17021, on the other hand, outlines the requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems.
Upon successful completion of the CQI and IRCA Certified EMS 14001 Lead Auditor Training course, learners are eligible to receive certification. This certification is recognized by the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) and the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA). Those who complete the course successfully (within the five years prior to applying for certification as an IRCA EMS auditor) fulfill the necessary training requirements for becoming a certified EMS auditor. This signifies that individuals have acquired the essential skills and knowledge needed to perform audits in line with ISO 14001.
The certification granted upon successful completion of the course satisfies the training prerequisites for initial certification as an IRCA EMS auditor. This is a significant credential, as it demonstrates that individuals have met the rigorous standards set by IRCA for environmental management system auditing.
This 14001 Lead Auditor course serves a dual purpose: meeting the requirements for IRCA auditor registration and providing essential knowledge and skills for environmental management practitioners engaged in audit program design and implementation. It positions individuals as competent and well-equipped professionals in the field of environmental management.
