Course description
The MSc Computer Science (Conversion) programme is designed for those who do not have a computing background upon entry, but who are looking to learn and understand more about how computing tools, techniques and methods can be utilised in practical scenarios. This practical Computer Science conversion course will prepare students for the real world, since our graduates will leave us ready to explore how digital technology can be applied in their non-computing fields, or ready to work in IT roles across a range of industries, including technology, business, law and public services.
Students will build knowledge in core computing concepts such as designing and building software, data management and creating effective web presence, as well as areas such as cyber security, AI and The Internet of Things.
