The Fire Brigades Union - Apprenticeship Training
The FBU Learning Centre was established in 2003 & is based within Northumberland Fire & Rescue Service , however, in partnership with the LGA, SSC & National Fire Service Employers we deliver Apprenticeships and VRQs on a national level. A true partnership approach at local level involving Fire Authorities, Senior Management Teams Human Resource departments, Occupational Health and Learning and Development Teams, has facilitated delivery of apprenticeships in over 30 Fire and Rescue Services The FBU learning centre continues to deliver high quality apprenticeship programmes in Fitness Instructing & Personal Training through a specialist awarding body Active IQ meeting the needs of both the apprentice employee & employer.
