Stockport Engineering Training Association Limited - Apprenticeship Training
SETA was established as a Group Training Association in 1966 to provide engineering apprenticeship training in the North West and have undertaken several national contracts. We have our own Learning & Skills Academy based in central Stockport. All of our assessors are competency biased and recruited from industry with experience in Manufacturing, Welding/Fabrication, Electrical and Electronics and Machining.
We offer a one stop shop for apprenticeship training as we undertake our own Technical Certificates e.g. BTEC Extended National Diploma in Operations and Maintenance and from September 2016 offer the Higher National Certificate in Engineering in both Mechanical and Electrical Disciplines along with practical training.
