Most awarding organisations require you to hold a qualification in assessing if you want to work with adults and young people. A Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement is for anyone wanting to teach adults and young people in a further education setting, providing you with the skills and knowledge to be able to assess vocational qualifications.
This course can be studied at the same time as the Level 3 Education & Training Award for the combined price of £750.

People working with adults and young people who wish to gain a knowledge of the principles and practice of assessment as well as the practical aspects of carrying out assessment.
There are no formal qualifications required to undertake this course. Although, we would recommend that you have completed a Level 2 course before starting a Level 3. To secure your place please return the completed application form available on the course webpage on the Step Into Learning website. After this, we will arrange an initial advice and guidance session before completing an initial assessment. Please note you will need to be involved in assessing learners.
